This is my favorite picture of my mother, most of the ones of her before she was sick are still at home and the others I have here are from the fall before she died, so this is really the best one we have handy (except for the senior picture that Kati scanned in).I think this is at Lake Sakakawea in central North Dakota, judging from the size of the body of water. This is probably early marriage (since she was married at 23) and pre-my birth, when she was 26.
